Out of love for brothers and sisters, Castel Mimi has created a blend of Merlot and Malbec. Like the two rhombuses in folklore, with a common origin and unique path, they coexist, support each other, and become stronger together, as the two grape varieties perfectly complement each other's tastes and flavors in the coupage. Selected grapes from the Speia wine-growing micro-area, in the Codru region, have been turned into a wine with vibrant flavors of dried plums and spices, embracing delicate notes of cherries, raspberries, and chocolate. The body is full and dominated by spicy tannins that provide a pleasant astringency. The fruity aftertaste lets you indulge in the flavors.
